1.Commitment
When you book a holiday
at Maison du Cherou you
agree to abide by the undermentioned booking conditions. Our commitment to you is to
provide you with the holiday that you have booked and paid for.
2.Payment
Your completed booking form must be
sent to us followed by a deposit of 25%. On receipt of which your
booking will become binding. You will be sent a confirmation of the booking
by return together with the date by which the balance of the cost of your holiday
is to be paid. The final payment of 75% will be due at least 8 weeks before your arrival date,
unless otherwise agreed. If payment is not received by this time we reserve the right to
cancel the booking without refund. If you book your holiday within 8 weeks of the arrival
date, full payment will be required at the time of booking.
3.Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your holiday you
must notify us in writing by recorded or registered post. Cancellations will be effective
from the date of receipt of your written advice. The following cancellation charges will
apply:-

If we have to cancel your holiday a full
refund will be payable. No liability will exceed the amount paid.
We do advise you take out holiday insurance - cover to include the
unlikely event of cancellation.
4.Arrival and departure
A week’s holiday at
Maison du Cherou is on a Saturday to Saturday basis. Arrival time is
between 4.00pm and 7.00pm. Arrival outside of the laid down times must
be by prior arrangement with the management of Maison du Cherou. Departure time is by 10.00am
5.Your responsibilities
It will be the responsibility of you
and/or your party members to:-
a) ensure that all passport, visa and
health requirements are met.
b) make your own travel arrangements.
c) have all necessary vehicle documentation
and insurance cover
d) arrange appropriate travel insurance
including cancellation and health cover
6.The
owner of Maison du Cherou or his/her representatives shall not be liable
to the client:
a) for any
temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the
property, nor in respect of any equipment, plant, machinery or
appliance on the premises
b) for any loss, damage, injury, illness or death, which is the result
of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes, or any other
matters beyond the owners control.
7.Breakages
A security deposit of £100.00 will be
required to cover the cost of any breakages and damage, and will be
due when the balance of the cost of your holiday is due, ie 8 weeks
before the start of your holiday. If booking within 8 weeks of your
arrival date the security deposit must be paid together with the full
cost of your holiday. and will be refunded at the end of your stay. If
there are any breakages or damage, the costs of such breakages or
damage to property will be charged to you as appropriate.
8.Occupancy
a) The number of people
occupying the accommodation must not exceed the numbers as laid down by
the management of Maison du Cherou. In the event of excess accommodation
being required Maison du Cherou will offer to seek alternative
arrangements.
b) The accommodation must be left in a
reasonable state of cleanliness on departure. A cleaning service is available at a small
charge if required. Any costs incurred due to the property being left in an unreasonable
state will be charged to you as appropriate
c) No pets allowed
9.Quality of service
It is the aim of the
management of Maison du Cherou to provide a high quality of service to
its customers. However, occasionally things may go wrong and it is
important that such rare matters are resolved as quickly as possible. If
there is any part of the service with which you are not happy you should
first pursue this with the management of Maison du Cherou at the time where every effort will be
made to resolve the matter. In the unlikely event of a complaint, this should be directed
to the owner.
